At first glance, the hidden staircase at the back of Five Guys presents you with a refined scene of cocktails, skylights, dress shoes, and good times. The other side of the bar tells a different story.

 This story is important because it represents greater issues in New York City, such as income inequality in large urban spaces and the mistreatment of people working in the hospitality industry. My intention is to offer a new perspective on the famous Speakeasy above Five Guys.
